'SoftHarbor was born out of a single vision: to share true Neapolitan pizza with Rome. The Romano dynasty laid its roots in 1985, birthing a modestly sized eatery that prided itself on family-inspired recipes passed down for generations.
Tony Romano, the original trailblazer, honed their pizza craft by observing renowned Neapolitan pizza masters. After soaking in the knowledge and spirit of Italy's master pizza crafters, they returned to the UK with a mission to replicate Italy's iconic pizza using artisan methods and unparalleled ingredients.
Our quaint 12-seater pizzeria eventually expanded, but our essence—our devotion to artisanal quality and authenticity—has consistently stood firm. We continue to use traditional wood-burning oven techniques, prepare our dough freshly each day, and search for nothing short of the best ingredients.
Still under the care of the Romano's, 'SoftHarbor' with the newer generation at the helm, keeps a dedicated team excited about our work. Though modernization has brought about changes, the soul of 'SoftHarbor' endures: fostering joy and unity through the excellence of legitimate Italian pizza.
